Finding your way
back to each other

Couples therapy helps partners understand the dynamics that are creating distance or conflict between them - and build the communication, trust, and connection they want in their relationship.

Dr. Cutler works with couples at all stages - from those navigating a specific conflict to those who feel the relationship has quietly drifted apart. He creates a space where both partners can speak honestly and feel genuinely heard.

Couples therapy is not only for relationships in crisis. Many couples come to therapy as a way of deepening their understanding of one another and strengthening a relationship that already works.

Adolescent Therapy

03 · Adolescent

Support through
the hardest years

Adolescence is one of the most psychologically demanding periods of life. Dr. Cutler works with teenagers and young adults to help them understand and navigate the challenges unique to this stage of development.

Working with adolescents requires a particular kind of sensitivity - an ability to build trust with someone who may be skeptical of therapy, while also maintaining an honest, productive relationship with the parents or caregivers who are part of the picture.

Dr. Cutler brings the same depth of training and clinical experience to adolescent work as he does to adult therapy, tailoring his approach to the developmental needs and circumstances of each young person.

Healing the
relationships that
matter most

Family therapy addresses the patterns of interaction and communication within a family system - helping members understand one another more fully and resolve conflicts that may have persisted for years.

Families often seek therapy during periods of acute stress - a divorce, a loss, a child's behavioral difficulties, or a major life transition. But family therapy can also be valuable simply when communication has broken down and family members feel disconnected from one another.

Dr. Cutler works with the family as a whole while remaining attentive to the needs of each individual within it. Sessions may involve the full family or subsets of family members, depending on what the work requires.

Commonly addressed concerns
Parent-child conflict Divorce & separation Blended families Grief & loss Communication breakdown Behavioral concerns Major life transitions

The Approach

Tailored to
you - not a
protocol

Dr. Cutler does not work from a rigid treatment manual or a single therapeutic framework. His approach is shaped by decades of clinical experience and a deep respect for the individuality of each patient.

His training in psychoanalytic thought informs his sensitivity to how the past shapes the present - without making the work inaccessible or overly abstract. The goal is always practical: understanding that leads to real change.

Individualized from the start

Treatment is shaped around you - your history, your goals, your pace. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.

Depth over symptom management

The goal is genuine understanding - not just managing symptoms, but addressing what lies beneath them.

Grounded in relationship

The quality of trust and understanding between patient and therapist is itself a vehicle for healing.
